BIOGRAPHY
Catherine has always loved the performing arts, taking her first dance class at 3 years old; dance was seen as a form of expression and her first love. Moving through her teens, acting took dance’s place. After gaining her Guildhall Acting LV8 Distinction, she started to train with Birmingham Theatre School, where her passion for acting grew.
Moving to Aberystwyth to start university she explored Stanislavski, Grotowski and Chekhov’s methods, this gave her grounding to produce her own solo production. Catherine is well versed in the art of pantomime, farce and Shakespeare with a flair for multi-rolling.
Immediately after leaving university Catherine set up the production company Blood, Sweat and Tea Productions LTD, which has produced 8 full theatrical productions and an award-winning audio drama ‘Little Boots’. This has led her to gain knowledge in casting, producing and directing.
From the start of 2020, she decided that she was going to try her hand in screen acting. She trained with The London Meisner Company from summer 2020 until March 2022. Through this training, she has gone on to be part of several short films, her most recent, winning best student film, where she played the lead role as historical British journalist, Barbara Buchanan.
Catherine brings a smile to every production, open to her own stunts and has exemplary work ethics.
