BIOGRAPHY
Diana is a professional actress, born in Surrey in the United Kingdom and now based in Essex UK. She studied drama, tap and modern dance at stage school. From there Diana continued to develop her acting skills in the creative arts, having performed in a number of short films and working on film school shorts.
Diana resumed her passion for creativity after having a family and pursued a singing career prior to going into the nursing profession where she has since worked as a unit nurse on a number of film and television productions as well as nursing in other areas too. However, working on set as a unit nurse reignited her desire to perform and return to the entertainment industry. Diana appeared on daytime TV as herself on a number of occasions as well as supporting the cast and crew behind the scenes in her unit nursing capacity.
This inspired her to get back to acting and she then undertook an acting course “Acting for Stage & Screen” with The Actors Workshop, which covered an introduction to Meisner, Improvisation and scene work for stage and screen, acting for camera and training for Comedy and Drama. Having completed her workshop course in June 2020, Diana started gaining work by working on student films, short films and voice-over work for a production named “Grandma”, which won a number of awards in multiple film festivals. Since then Diana has played a variety of roles including a featured walk-on as a cleaner in BBC Doctors, various commercials, as a patient for healthcare services, and Oxford press voice-over work to teach English to foreign students. Currently, she is Executive Producer on a feature film and is also playing a role as the head of security services which is now in production and due for release in late 2023 – 2024.
Diana’s life experiences have enabled her to be very adaptable with skills including multiple dialects, crying on cue, and also having an understanding of varying work areas such as prison, military and police environments to mention but a few. Diana is a very committed artist to her craft, works well with others, is reliable and is not afraid of hard work.
