Ellie is a headstrong and determined graduate from the University of Chichester Conservatoire who has a BA (Hons) in Acting for Film. From a young age, Ellie has performed on stage in musicals, dance shows and plays. She was classically ballet trained from the age of 3 and from there she decided to step into the world of Musical Theatre. She starred in Grease as Sandy and Alice in Alice in Wonderland at secondary school. In 2017, she auditioned for Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) and did a two-year course in their Level 3 Extended Diploma in Musical Theatre, where she performed in two musicals (Legally Blonde and The Phantom of the Opera) and also a Year 12 showcase where she had a solo part of Madam Thénardier in their Les Misérable piece “Master of the House”. Phantom of the Opera and the showcase were performed at The Old Rep in Birmingham. After completing her education at the BOA, Ellie decided she wanted to focus primarily on acting. She auditioned for Chichester and got onto the Acting for Film course at 18 years old where she spent three years learning how to act for camera, from experienced lecturers in the industry. At Chichester, she filmed many scenes and performed in two short films (Therapy and HAGS). Her time at Chichester has given her the knowledge and passion to succeed in the industry.
Ellie is confident in the practices of Meisner, Stanislavsky and Brecht and uses this to further her characters and performances. She has also been trained in Film/Stage combat and
Period dance. In her spare time, Ellie enjoys writing scenes and hopes to develop her writing skills and film more of her ideas. She wrote her University dissertation film Duplicitous and
would like to write more like this in the future. In 2019, Ellie was booked onto an Instagram Commercial where she filmed two short clips for their Let it Out & Share don’t care campaign. Now after graduating, Ellie is excited to receive more castings and auditions where she hopes to gain more successful bookings.
