Haqi is a talented professional Actor and Comedian Born and raised in Birmingham in the West Midlands, England. Haqi started his career as a stand-up comedian where he gained notoriety following his performance at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and tour in 1993. where he went on to build a successful career as a comedic actor and stand up comic. Haqi Ali has also featured In BBC’s Network East, as a stand up comic, “Citizen Khan”, “This World – The Attack”, “Man Like Mobeen”, “Doctors” as well as “Jawbone” a Netflix film and a Hollywood production of “Waiting for The Barbarians”

Haqi is also a talented scriptwriter and film Director and has gone on to write screenplays and also directed his directorial debut film; ‘Return’. Haqi has also featured in an award-winning film ‘Get the Picture’ (2004) which was a Rupert Wyatt film starring Brian Cox, he then went on to work for, Nevalglazing TV, Working Title, and Smooth Demon Production’s Official Nominee for the BATSFF 2015 Best Supporting Actor, for his role in the film; ‘Go With God’ In 2014. Haqi is also an Editor: and was the film editor of Mr. Creep. (Short film) Return (Feature Film) and Tainted Love (Short Film).
