BIOGRAPHY
Joe is a talented young professional Actor originally from the North of England where he was born and raised and is now currently based in London. He trained at St Mary’s University London, studying Drama in their BA Acting course known simply as Drama St Mary’s and graduated in June 2021.
Joe has always been passionate about the Performing Arts and started his acting career at the young age of twelve, working very closely with The Octagon Theatre in Bolton and was cast in two Christmas shows two years in a row ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘Robin Hood’. From this, he leapt further into his career taking part in many youth theatres, enhancing his abilities and knowledge of theatre. He was cast in several classical plays from the works of Bertolt Brecht and Shakespeare.
During his time at college, Joe volunteered with the Greater Manchester Police as part of their police training program using his foundation level of stage combat. Joe was hired by the NHS as a volunteer to film training videos for trainee nurses and doctors. He was also cast in the short film ‘The Night we Met’.
Joe then trained at Drama St Mary’s and moved his life to London. During his training, he achieved his Intermediate stage combat qualification as well as earning a vast understanding of the industry.
After graduating Joe performed with the theatre company ‘Play Dead London’ and was cast in several of their online immersive murder mystery theatre experiences. Where audiences take part in guessing who the murderer is whilst talking directly with the characters to find clues along the way.
