BIOGRAPHY

Louise is a Native British Actress, born and raised in the UK, educated, and trained in England and France first as a solicitor (lawyer), but then retrained, as a professional film and theatre actress in English and French at the Acting Schools of ECOLE DE JEU and METHOD ACTING CENTER in Paris, plus she trained at the Bilingual Acting Workshop (BAW) Paris, The London Met School, El Club de la Improvisation and Actores Madrid in Spanish in Madrid.

As well as being a native English speaker, Louise speaks fluent French and Spanish and acts in all 3 of these languages and she has lived in France, Holland, Germany, and Spain.  She has also specialised in coaching and teaching acting for theatre, film, and TV to both children, students, and adults, professional or amateur in English, as well as teaching English through the means of acting and drama. Louise has also used her acting and improvisation skills for therapeutic objectives, working with refugees and migrants in the Paris refugee camps, plus with mentally disabled adults and abused women and children.

She has performed in numerous theatres including physical, immersive, classical, and modern theatre plays, film such as features and shorts, television including TV series and Telefilms, commercials for international brands, music video clips for many European musicians, acting in Education, Voice-Over and dubbing productions in Paris, London, Moscow, and Madrid. Louise also models for fashion photo shoots and organises her own creative photographic shoots.

During the Covid pandemic, like many actors she invested and converted her creative, artistic skills by creating her own 2 online web-series on social media, entitled LUCY POPPET and WEEKEND HOT SPOTS, with over 300 videos, all of which she independently, researched, wrote, directed, acted, filmed, and produced. She continues to write for stage and screen and direct independent productions.

Louise believes that physicality is essential for honest acting and thrives to provide emotional authenticity in all her stage and screen performances. Moreover, she considers that actors should be true listeners and observers in society and even though there are fewer interesting roles for older women like herself, she is determined to demonstrate the need for writing and creating challenging and exciting roles for older actresses, so to bring the acting world in line with modern reality of current society. She loves working on international, multi-lingual, and multi-cultural acting projects and is fully prepared to travel abroad for acting jobs. Louise is a disciplined, organised actress and a full hands-on team player.
