
BIOGRAPHY
Marcus was born and raised in Glasgow. He is a dynamic and dedicated professional actor with bases in both Glasgow and London. His passion for performance began at the age of 15, first finding his footing in theatre and musical theatre. Early stage credits include portraying Audrey 2 in Little Shop of Horrors and appearing in Macbeth, setting the foundation for his diverse range.
Marcus has since transitioned into screen acting, taking on the role of Beastia in the feature film Fortitudo and appearing in award-winning short films such as Garden Shengai (available on STV Player) and Heavy Load. His training is extensive, having studied at Acting Coach Scotland, Southside Performance Studio, and Acting Out Drama School. He further honed his craft by completing a BA in Acting and Performance at New College Lanarkshire and studying at the Royal Conservatoire’s summer school.
Storytelling has always been at the core of Marcus’s identity. As a child, he would create entire worlds using VHS tapes and breathe life into his toys with unique characters and voices. Though life briefly steered him in other directions, his passion for acting never wavered. At 27, he made the decisive leap to pursue his career full-time, bringing a wealth of life experience, dedication, and creative depth to every role he takes on.
