BIOGRAPHY

Shirel is a professionally trained actress and studied ballet and contemporary dance classes as a child at a local stage school and performed in their regular shows.  She was a member of the county youth theatre and participated in the national festival of youth theatres.  Where she performed in a number of plays include… Midsummer Night’s Dream, Oedipus, Don Quixote (Dulcinea), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard (Rosencrantz)

Shirel went on to train in the performing arts at The Drama Centre, London and earned her equity card dancing on cruise liners for a number of months as well as a selection of theatre performances … A Doll’s House (Nora), The Seagull (Nina), TIE tour of South London schools where she played the lead role in a play called The Rainbow Coloured Disco Dancer. As well as performing in a fringe production of an experimental play, The Ruins of Carthage where again Shirel played a lead role,

Shirel also did some extra work in front of the camera for a number of TV dramas for the BBC. She is also a trained exercise instructor She was one of 5 Nike Fitness Athletes, and toured and has a great understanding and has a high level of movement and dance and presented her own workshops which she choreographed, Shirel has gained strong performing skills in front of the camera over the years.
