Shona Hart is a London based actress who from a young age became heavily influenced by many female actors. She would often spend hours snuggled up to her mother watching her favourites repeatedly, Whoopi Goldberg, Helena Bonham Carter and Viola Davis. The quote, “An actress can only play a woman. I am an Actor I can play anything” by Goldberg has been a mantra for Shona throughout her short career. She has taken on different roles male or female to challenge herself, learn more and evolve.

Her passion for the arts led to Shona training at Brit Kids and Italia Conti. She gained more experience by becoming a member of many theatre companies, such as National Youth Theatre. Through her training Shona has explored various acting techniques and practitioners, Meisner, Shakespeare, Stanislavski, Uta Hagen to name a few. While her training at RADA has expanded her experience into films.

This year Shona has graduated from Royal Academy Dramatic Art foundation course, acted in various amount of roles from Shakespeare’s Volumnia to Debbie Tucker‘ green’s ‘woman’ and taken part in short films. Her current project is a web-series, called South Beast.
