Sophie Claringbold-Green

BIOGRAPHY

Sophie is a professional actress located in London. She has recently graduated from the Kingdom School of Arts London and is ready to pursue a long career in acting. Sophie has worked in the entertainments industry for 17 years and landed her first professional job in 2008 on Hollywood movie “Planet 51”, working alongside Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott and John Cleese.

Sophie is used to performing to large crowds and has great camera and stage presence. She has starred in stage performances such as “Grease The Musical”, “West Side Story” and “South Pacific”, with leading roles in both. Sophie has an A Level in Performing Arts and is a natural performer.

Sophie is a well-rounded actress and is suited to most genres. However, her keen interest is in comedy. Sophie has created internet comedy videos for many years and had she been born slightly earlier, she would have been perfect for 90’s comedy sketch shows such as “Smack The Pony” and “Absolutely Fabulous”.

For Sophie, laughter is always the goal. She believes laughter is medicine. Sophie would be great on a panel show due to her ‘off the cuff’, quick-witted humour. Sophie has just performed at the Chelsea Theatre in London to a sold out crowd. She thrives off an audience enjoying her work.

Sophie is incredibly easy to work with. She will be on set early and will give her everything to perfect the job for the client. She prides herself on being ‘down to earth’ and easy to get along with. She will always deliver.

Sophie is also a professional singer. She performs to hundreds of people with her UK Garage / R’n’B / Dance live 4-piece band, ‘FNKHAUS’. Sophie will dazzle you with renditions of Whitney Houston’s hits, and will surprise you with her take on ’21 Seconds’ by So Solid Crew! You will not find a performer quite like Sophie. Her energy is hard to match and when she walks into the room you know you will be getting quality work, from a true professional.

Sophie is able to attend auditions across the UK and also has a full, clean UK drivers’ licence.

Sophie has studied Spanish for many years and this is something she would love to use in her work one day.
