BIOGRAPHY
Tayah Kansik an up and coming actress and stunt woman from Staffordshire in the North of England, UK. Tayah is a qualified Personal Trainer and Bodyguard. From a young age Fitness has always been a huge passion for her especially Martial Arts. Tayah also has various experience within Modelling, TV and Film which including Acting Fight scenes /Stunts and Choreography. Her expertise as an Ex Police Defence Trainer with over 16 years in “Muay Thai” at instructor level along with Boxing, MMA and Weapons, led her to be spotted in 2009 and flown over to New York to feature in and present and choreograph a Self Defence film for women on DVD. This later became a best seller with Barnes and Noble.
From then she has appeared in television soaps such as Hollyoaks and Coronation Street as well as BBC drama “Into Darkness” where she played the role of a Female Firearms Officer. In 2012 Tayah was asked to feature on the LA Active Channel as a female Stunt driver and shortly after was asked to be the Fight Choreographer for Darren Lynch’s gritty Indie film “Brothers.” In 2014-Director and Writer Dean Meadows asked Tayah to be one of his main leads for two of his projects one of which was “Scarlett Cross” where Tayah plays the role of the “Bodyguard.”
May 2016 Martial Arts Action Actor Mark Strange asked Tayah to fight one of the lead actresses an ex WWE Professional Wrestler Katarina Waters in his new Zombie action film directed by Chee Keong Cheung “Redcon 1” Tayah plays the Super Zombie Fighter. In March 2017-Tayah was asked to be the Body Double for the lead actress Ruhi Singh for the highly anticipated Bollywood film “Cobra” directed by Munesh Rawat. Due to Tayah’s and professionalism knowledge and expertise in Martial Arts she is currently waiting to play the role of “Jane the Punisher.” filming in Los Angeles for Fito Rivera’s “Scorpion Girl” the first Latina Superhero, played by Danly Segovia, Tayah is to play her nemesis.
