BIOGRAPHY
Helena is a dedicated professional actor, writer & director. From a young age she showed a passion for the arts, especially acting, singing & dance, and attended Stagecoach Performing Arts. Once finishing secondary school, Helena completed a three year National Diploma in Performing Arts with distinction, she then went on to Kingston University to study Drama (B.A hons), and also completed Acting for Screen at Pinewood Studios.
Helena has performed lead roles, in both straight plays, Shakespeare and musical theatre, including Sir Peter Halls, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Oklahoma & Pendragon the Musicals. She has also acted in several short films, and a music video.
Helena has also written for stage and screen. The play Kick It, as part of the International Youth Arts Festival, Rose Theatre Kingston, and for short film ‘Strayed’ which entered, Enter the Pitch, a national film competition.
Helena loves making people laugh and has a strong comedy background, spending several years as co-writer, producer, writer and performer for the satire comedy sketch shows ‘Comedy News Hour’ & ‘A Hard Days Month’ playing at Londons, Leicester Square Theatre, Charing Cross Theatre, Etcetera Theatre, New Player’s Theatre, Dirty Dicks, & the Rose Theatre Kingston. She has also written a short comedy web series and a sitcom pilot for television.
