BIOGRAPHY

Jake is a young upcoming professional actor originally from the South of England. He is now based in the North of England where he was trained at the University of Central Lancashire, studying Acting for screen, radio and stage. Their BA Acting course is known for its focus on practitioner Vsevolod Meyerhold’s system of actor training, also known as Biomechanics.

From a young age, Jake found his passion for the Performing Arts ignited within a strong handful of musical productions with the Pendle Hippodrome Theatre, starting only at the young age of ten and finishing his last show at the age of fifteen. Notable productions included ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Footloose’ and ‘Highschool Musical’ where he landed his largest part of Jack Scott.

During his college years, Jake then transitioned from a world of purely musicals to the broader plane of both classical and contemporary plays, studying the likes of Berthold Brecht, Georg Büchner’s ‘Woyzeck’ and performed Shakespeare’s ‘Merchant of Venice with the Borderline Theatre Company.

Now as he looks to gain a continued foothold within all parts of the acting industry, Jake still works to broaden his skill sets and range of experiences to help him bring even more to the table of any character he’s fortunate enough to bring to life.
