Keira Lake
Keira is a London-based actress and 2026 First Class Honours graduate of Rose Bruford College. Her recent theatre credits include Sally Poppy in Lucy Kirkwood’s The Welkin and Jessie in Lynn Nottage’s Sweat. At Rose Bruford, Keira’s training primarily focused on acting for stage and screen.
However, Keira also had opportunities to develop her experience in directing, dancing, and producing original work. As part of her degree, Keira spent four months training at The New School in New York, where she developed her work for screen, studied female playwriting practices, and wrote her own short plays. Prior to Rose Bruford College, she trained at East 15 Acting School, where she gained her Cert HE in Acting for Stage and Screen, developing her acting technique, devising, and physical theatre practices.
Keira has also performed across multiple verbatim theatre pieces including The Laramie Project and My Name Is Rachel Corrie. Her practice includes Michael Chekhov’s technique, and she holds a Merit in Standard BADC Unarmed and Rapier and Dagger.Keira also has experience in the wider performing arts industry, including stage management, directing and writing. She is passionate about increasing accessibility in the arts and building spaces where emerging artists can develop, connect and make work. Outside of performing, Keira’s biggest love is her dog, Daisy, and she also enjoys discovering new cities and countries."
