Lou is a professionally trained actor from Northern England, who began her career on the stage and first discovered her passion for performance as a child at Oldham Theatre Workshop. She holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre and Media Studies, providing a strong grounding in theory, media practice and contemporary theatre-making. Her discipline extends into movement, holding a Third Gold Bar in dance.
She recently graduated from the Brian Timoney Ultimate Acting Programme, refining her craft as a method actor and strengthening her commitment to truthful, emotionally rich screen work. With an expressive face and eyes, Lou brings depth of emotion, subtle detail and grounded authenticity to every role.
Alongside her acting training, Lou has worked extensively as a teacher, youth worker and therapist, supported by her MA in Psychology. This insight into human behaviour enriches her performances with emotional intelligence and realism. Her Theatre in Education work strengthens her ability to communicate complex themes and connect meaningfully with diverse audiences.
